This year, the 25 member school districts collaborated and successfully bid products and services in a wide range of areas: computers, audiovisual equipment, copy paper, waste management, custodial products, office and classroom supplies, food services and school buses. School districts benefited with reduced costs, improved services, and time savings.
The CIESC membership is also able to increase savings now through K12Indiana. A partnership between the State of Indiana and Educational Service Centers, K-12 Indiana gives every K-12 public school the purchasing advantage of statewide-negotiated contracts, organized into convenient online catalogs, all on one easy-to-use website.

Child Nutrition Purchasing
CIESC’s Region 9 Food Service Purchasing Cooperative is a nationally recognized purchasing cooperative as well as the largest K-12 food and product-purchasing agent in Indiana. This cooperative ensures all products meet USDA guidelines for school nutrition while monitoring changes in legislature and food trends. Our efficient and reliable bidding system guarantees our schools procure top quality products at the best market prices. Participating in Region 9 allows food service professionals to be more efficient with their time and provides regular networking and idea sharing opportunities.
