2025-2026 Impact Report: Building What Indiana Schools Need Next

For more than 35 years, CIESC has been proud to support and serve its members, as well as educators and students across the state, through a wide range of services.

The 2025-2026 school year was defined by four things we hold at the center of everything we do: academic excellence, transformational innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic partnerships. Today CIESC serves 35 member districts representing 232,155 students by average daily membership, alongside associate members and fee-for-service partners across central Indiana and beyond.

Nowhere was that work more visible than in work-based learning. With Indiana’s Diploma and Readiness Seals now calling for at least 75 hours of work-based learning for every student in the Class of 2029 and beyond, our new Partners for Professions service launched across three central Indiana communities, building the regional infrastructure districts need to connect students with real employers and real experience. That same forward momentum showed up everywhere else this year: a redesigned CIESC Dashboard giving districts real-time visibility into their savings, new AI training and credentialing programs, a 17% increase in Cooperative Programs contract sales, continued growth in Indiana Online’s support for district virtual programming, and a second successful KINLCon drawing educators from across the country.

From our humble beginnings to our work today, CIESC is committed to transforming the PK-12 education system for the better. Every staff member is dedicated to serving the Hoosier community through our mission to provide high-quality, sustainable, and affordable services. We work to ensure that every student in Indiana has access to education, which is why we’re also proud to support our associate members: the Indiana School for the Deaf, the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and Southside Special Services.
