Administrative Supports

Supporting & Serving Administrative Needs

The Administrative Supports department is dedicated to helping administrators make transformational change by providing support for districts and schools to review their existing systems and structures, ensuring the highest quality is in place. Our goal is to help you examine your current programs to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement and to provide ongoing support and coaching to improve program quality. We will take the time to get to know your staff and students and understand your programs to provide recommendations on how various programs or initiatives might be implemented more effectively.

At CIESC, we empower administrative leaders to drive sustainable change. By working alongside district and site administrators, we equip them with the knowledge, tools, and structures needed to foster an environment where teachers and students don’t just succeed, they thrive. Our approach is to deeply understand your district’s unique needs, allowing us to partner with you to improve systems and achieve meaningful, lasting impact for every learner.

Employee Retention

Administrative Supports helps schools improve employee retention by providing actionable insights through our comprehensive audits focused on school climate and stay interviews. We begin by determining what’s working and identifying gaps, ensuring a clear and focused direction for the work ahead in an effort to increase employee satisfaction and engagement. Through the audit process, Administrative Supports translates insights into a targeted plan with actionable next steps and supports you through implementation.

Strategic Planning

CIESC Administrative Supports offers a comprehensive strategic planning model that ensures high levels of stakeholder engagement resulting in an actionable plan. We will work collaboratively with district leadership to tailor our process to meet your individual school district needs. Our method will involve all stakeholders, generate a district status report, create the mission, vision, and values statements, develop a Portrait of a Graduate, and design strategic goals, strategies, metrics, and timelines.

Counseling Support

Our team provides counseling support through career coaching and customized district and school support, complemented by our district-led and championed community of practice, the Counselor Connect Expert Network. We focus on four key areas: student well-being, comprehensive school counseling, career counseling, and student services leadership. Our programs and resources are aligned with the current needs of student service professionals, helping schools build effective systems to support each and every student.

Executive Mentoring

We offer our member districts 48 hours of mentoring for district administrators utilizing a cadre of retired, highly qualified personnel with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences to support new administrators within the district. Our mentors build a trusting relationship to help central office and site administrators meet the overwhelming challenges of their new positions.

Indiana Career Collaborative

The Indiana Career Collaborative (ICC) is being established in select counties to create a network infrastructure designed to streamline all college and career activities into a single system.

The ICC will work with an intermediary in the region to coordinate all workplace activities with employers, as well as all district and school activities. On the employer side, this includes job apprenticeships, job internships, job shadows, business visits, teacher externships, career fairs, and classroom visits. On the school side, this includes tracking all student work experiences, career discovery meetings, career interest assessments, and coursework toward the new Readiness Seals.

Title VII & IX Investigation

Partnering with CIESC for Title VII and Title IX investigations allows school districts to streamline the investigative process while ensuring legal compliance. Our expert investigators alleviate the burden on administrators, allowing them to focus on daily responsibilities. By outsourcing these sensitive matters, districts benefit from impartial, timely, and legally sound investigations that reduce liability and foster transparency, equity, and trust.
