Executive Director Update: Highlights from the 2022-2023 School Year

We have reached another end to the school year. Hopefully, it is time for educators to decompress and rejuvenate because another school year will be here before you know it.  

CIESC has been very fortunate this past school year to serve and support its members and other Indiana students and educators. Here are some key highlights from the 2022-2023 school year:

We were fortunate to add four new member districts: MSD Washington Township, MSD Pike Township, Noblesville, and MSD Lawrence Township. 

Keep Indiana Learning

Four new professional learning specialists were added to more effectively meet educator needs.  

57,000+  visitors this school year to the Keep Indiana Learning website.

Co-Op Programs Logo

536 Buses sold through CIESC’s bus bid program 

8,567 Zoom licenses provided to districts at a discounted rate

21 vendors added to Partnerships Program

Driver Safety Logo

As of April 30, 2023, 3,638 students enrolled in the DriverEd Saftey program

Indiana Online

Total 2022-23 Enrollments = 34,277, which is a 1.6% growth

Served 22 schools with our FlexED program to offer school-specific courses

Served 48 schools with our Academy program with one or more full-time students

576 Hours provided to members (as of 05/08/23)

Launched five new Compliance Training Videos

Over 31,500+ compliance trainings completed. (131% YOY growth)

Hosted 10 Public Relations webinars

Administrative Supports Logo

Provided Executive Mentoring & Coaching to 29 member districts for a total of just under 800 hours (as of 5/4/23)

Completed two climate audits for member districts

Absence Management/Human Resources

  • Provided Executive Mentoring & Coaching to 29 member districts for a total of just under 800 hours (as of 5/4/23)
  • Completed two climate audits for member districts

21st Century After-School Program

  • Served over 380 students with the after-school program at eight schools in MSD of Pike Township with the 21st CCLC and REACH grants
  • Employed over 12 Pike High School junior and senior students this school year and looking to expand this partnership and collaborate with the Cadet Teaching Program at Pike High School

CIESC will continue to strive to enhance its programs and services in the 2023-2024 school year.
